T-shirt design for WebRaising 2008 was completed yesterday. The previous year’s designs were pretty symmetrical and simplistic. The color schemes were nice, but left a lot of wondering as to what the design means or what it conveys.
When I saw that, I knew it was time to make something that would stand out and bring the school some pride to wear the shirt. Hopefully everyone who is involved with WebRaising this year will dig the shirt and I’m pretty excited to see it on some cloth.
I was looking for a place to go skydiving and I came across skydiveatlanta.com. The site was informational and very functional. A discovery I encountered with skydiveatlanta.com was that the information was not as easy to get to as some of their competitors.
I made this .psd comp to challenge myself to integrate solid functionality, information architecture standards, and an aesthetic that didn’t re-brand the client. This was the result.
While in Charleston, Aubrey completed an Associate in Arts Degree in Commercial Graphics w/ emphasis in Digital Media. After graduating in August 2007, Aubrey moved to Atlanta... the New York City of the South.
Aubrey is currently in his junior year at the Art Institute of Atlanta. He is completing a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Web Design and Interactive Media. He currently sits as the student coordinator for WebRaising, a non-profit pro-bono web design and development effort in greater Atlanta.
When he is not designing interactive solutions for his robust exisitng client base, or widdling away at his latest scholastic projects... you can find Aubrey enjoying the nice southern weather at a local Atlanta park, finding the next exciting fashion statement, or enjoying time with friends.

Salon Couture had found me to be their third web designer, and still with no site. Luckily we came together and produced something that encapsulated their rocker-grunge environment in the salon.
Offering high end beauty products and service that has catered to the stars, Salon Couture’s interactive presence earned its cliche of “third time’s a charm.” http://www.couturehair.com

The Cooper River Bridge Run 10K is one of the top 35 races in the world, according to Running USA, and is the fourth largest 10K race in North America.
This is the design contest entry I entered. It was decided on to be the 2008 poster and t-shirt print for the race! 50,000 t-shirts with this.
Lesesne, run by mother/daughter team Bryte and Barbara, allowed for total creative control of their website. Their copy was simple and to the point and needed something to complement it.
Their high end, King Street store in Charleston SC is a tasteful mix of contemporary furniture, fine European wrapping papers, and unique gifts. The site was designed to be as contemporary and modern as they are in person. http://www.shoplesesne.com

Calder Clark has been one of my longest standing clients. Her site has undergone a revision and is now on its 2.0 version. She wanted a widescreen website to coincide with the movement of most computer hardware, laptops specifically, to a widescreen format. Her site also uses flash navigation for an added touch.
